【Introduction】

A capacitor (originally known as a condenser) is a passive two-terminal electrical component used to store electrical energy temporarily in an electric field .The forms of practical capacitors vary widely,but all contain at least two electrical conductors (plates) separated by a dielectric (i.e. an insulator that can store energy by becoming polarized).The conductors can be thin films, foils or sintered beads of metal or conductive electrolyte, etc. The nonconducting dielectric acts to increase the capacitor’s charge capacity.Materials commonly used as dielectrics include glass,ceramic,plastic film,air,vacuum,paper,mica,and oxide layers.

Capacitors are widely used as parts of electrical circuits in many common electrical devices. Unlike a resistor, an ideal capacitor does not dissipate energy. Instead, a capacitor stores energy in the form of an electrostatic field between its plates.In short,the main components of the capacitor are aluminum foils and the other things.

The recycling of capacitors can separate the aluminum foils/films from the waste capacitors,they can be used to the other areas.

【Main sources】

The waste capacitors of the capacitor treatment stations,the leftover materials of electronic component factories and the classification of waste recycling stations are the main sources of waste capacitors.

The usages of Aluminum powders:
①The aluminum powder is the main ingredient of fireworks.So the recycling aluminum powder can be supplied to the firework factories.
②The aluminum powder is the additive of oil paints.By adding the aluminum powder to the paints ,it can present silver. So the recycling aluminum powder can be supplied to the paint factories.
③The aluminum powder can be used as the additive of blowing promotor/foaming agent,etc.
④The aluminum powder can be sent to the aluminum factories,through smelting the aluminum powder can be made to the high purity aluminum ingots.In these ways we can promote the usages of recycling material and reduce the pollution to the environment.
